Nokia Online Store customer services
 
The Nokia Online Store is open 24 hours a day, selling products, accessories and service vouchers direct from Nokia. You can also order by calling our direct sales team, who can advise you and place your order on your behalf, at 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542) between 9am-9pm EST on Monday-Friday and between 10am-7pm EST Saturday.

Ordering
There are several ways to find products in the Nokia Online Store.
  • To browse all of our products by device model and device category, use the main navigation on the left.
  • To see compatible accessories, select your device model and the accessories will automatically display at the bottom of the product page.
  • To search for a product, use the Search box in the top left-hand corner - type a keyword (eg "music" or the name and model of the device) and then click the search button
The latest availability status is listed on each product page. If the product is available, there will be an Add to cart button on the righthand side of the page. If the product is temporarily out of stock, you can leave your email address and we will contact you as soon asit is available. A Preorder button means that you can reserve the product before it is available, which means you will be among the very first to receive the product once it is released.
  • Find the product you want.
  • Click Add to cart or Preorder and it will be added to your Shopping cart.
  • Continue shopping if you want to buy something else.
  • Click View cart in the upper righthand corner at any time to see what you have selected, change quantities or remove items.
  • When you are ready to buy, choose your shipping option (express or standard), enter a promotion code if you have one, and click Checkout.
  • Sign in, register, or continue your purchase without registration.
    Benefits of registering
    • View all of your current orders, past orders and preorders.
    • Track the progress of your orders to find out when they are sent.
    • Track your deliveries to find out when to expect your item(s).
  • Enter your address and payment details.
  • Click Place order.
  • You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your order.
  • When your order ships, you will receive a Shipping confirmation email.
Simply enter the discount code at the bottom of your shopping cart when you checkout of the Nokia Online Store. Your discount will be deducted automatically from the order total.

To preorder a product you need to add a product in the preorder status to your shopping cart and continue to the checkout. You will only be charged for your product(s) after they are shipped to you.

Preordering a product means you'll be one of the first to receive it after it's released. As soon as the product is in stock, we will process and ship your order to you.

You may place an order with multiple items. If your order contains multiple items, some of which are preorder items and others that are already in stock:
  • items already in stock will wait for the preorder items to arrive in stock, and
  • will be shipped as one delivery together with the preorder items in accordance with the selected delivery method (see Delivery).

If the preorder items and items in stock that you are ordering are not related items and you would prefer to receive the items in stock without waiting for the preorder items to be available, we recommend that you place two separate orders. Note that when placing two separate orders, each order will have its own shipping costs.

Note also that service vouchers are only sold in a bundle with a device in the Nokia Online Store, so when you order a service voucher you will also need to order a device in the same order.

We recommend that you call Nokia Customer service at 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542) Mon-Fri 9am-9pm EST or Sat 10am-7pm EST if you need to cancel your order. Have your order number available. It is only possible to cancel your order prior to payment authorization - after this your order cannot be cancelled.

If you have cancelled your order, you will receive an email to confirm that your order has been cancelled.

We constantly update our product and service voucher range and prices. All of our prices, including promotions and special offers, are valid as shown on the website when you place your order. You will be able to confirm the amount payable before you complete your order. Even if the product price changes after you have placed your order, you will still be charged the confirmed amount. The only exception is for preorder items as explained below.

When you preorder an item, we will charge you the lowest price offered in the Nokia Online Store between the time you placed your order and the time the product is shipped to you. So if the price goes down after you preorder, you will be charged the lower amount.

Paying
Payment by credit/debit card

To use this payment method, first add your chosen items to the shopping cart, then proceed to the payment page and select 'Credit Card'.

Choose your credit card type (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro etc.) and enter your card number, expiry date, billing address and the CVV Code. The CVV Code is the three or four digit number at the back of your card. After entering your details click 'Submit'.

After your payment has been authorized you will receive a confirmation message. Your item(s) will then be sent to you using your preferred method of delivery.

Please note that money will be taken from your credit card account only when your item(s) has been shipped.

When you place your order your bank may "hold" the funds, which means you won't be able to access them. When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will take your payment. We will email your Shipment confirmation - keep this safe as it is your proof of purchase.

When you place a preorder, a $1.00 "hold" on your credit card will be made. When your preorder is ready to ship your bank may "hold" the funds, which means you won't be able to access them. When your preorder is shipped from our warehouse, we will take your payment. We will email your Shipment confirmation - keep this safe as it is your proof of purchase.

Your Shipment confirmation email is your proof of purchase, so we recommend you print this and keep it safe for the warranty period of your product. Your Shipment confirmation email acts as your proof of purchase should you need to get any warranty repairs on your product at a Nokia service center.
Things to check in case your payment has not been successful:
  • Did you enter your credit card information and billing details correctly?
  • Did you enter the right card type, card number, issue number, expiration date, and CVV security code (the three-digit number on the back of your card)?
  • Does the billing address you entered exactly match the billing address information you have on file for the credit card that you entered?
  • Did you enter a complete and valid shipping address (we can't deliver to a PO Box address, hotels, hostels, prisons or outside of the continental United States)?
  • Do you have sufficient funds available in your Nokia account or on your credit card?
  • Is your credit card enrolled for online purchases?
  • Does your credit card have a defined limit for online purchases?
  • Did you check the box indicating you are the credit card holder or authorized to use the credit card?
  • Did you read and check the box indicating you accept the Sales terms and Privacy policy?
We take privacy and security very seriously:
  • When you place an order, we process it using a secure server which encrypts your information before it's transmitted.
  • We comply with data protection and privacy laws and take measures to make sure that all the information you give us, including your credit or debit card details, remains private and secure.

You may edit and update your billing and shipping details by going to Your Nokia Account page within the Nokia Online Store. If you update your delivery address then any future items you order will be sent there. Please note that your billing/delivery address cannot be changed for orders that are being processed. These items will be sent to the address on file at the point when your order was placed.

  • In stock items ordered before 3pm EST Monday-Friday will normally be shipped on the same day.
  • In stock items ordered after 3pm EST or on weekends will normally be shipped the next business day.
  • There are no deliveries during the weekend.
We only deliver in the continental United States. We are not able to deliver to to PO Box addresses, hotels, hostels, prisons or army barracks outside the United States.
If you registered on the Nokia Online Store during your purchase, or were logged in to your Nokia account during your purchase, you can track your order in the Order history section of Your Nokia account in the Nokia Online Store. The order status will tell you the progress of your order. You can also get the shipment tracking reference so you can Track your delivery to find out where it is and when to expect it.
Yes. When you place your order you can choose to have it shipped to an address that is different than your billing address. Please note, however, that once your order has been placed, the shipping address cannot be changed.
If you are not available to receive your shipment, the delivery agent will leave a delivery notification. Please follow the instructions provided on that notification to ensure you receive your shipment. If your order is returned to Nokia, we are not able to resend the order. You will need to place a replacement order.

This does not affect your right to return the product.

You will receive an email notification as soon as the preordered item(s) are in stock. After your order has been processed, your item(s) will be sent to you. You may also follow your order status by going to Your Nokia Account page within the Nokia Online Store.

Service vouchers
You can purchase service vouchers in the Nokia Online Store that enable you to activate and use services on your device, for example Nokia Maps.

You will find inside the service voucher a PIN-code/activation code and instructions that will allow you to activate the service or application license you have purchased.

Note that in order to activate the service or application license you must have the following:

  • A product compatible with the service or application license;
  • The relevant application installed on your compatible product; and
  • A mobile internet connection, such as GPRS, 3G or WLAN, activated on your compatible product.

Remember the PIN-code/activation code you have purchased may be valid for a certain period of time after which it will expire. Check the validity information on your service voucher and make sure that you activate your activation code within the validity period.

Please note that accessing the service or using the application may incur data transfer charges from your service provider. Nokia assumes no responsibility for the payment of any such charges.

We are unable to refund a service voucher if the seal has been broken or the voucher has been used.

Repairs, Returns and Refunds
Please contact Nokia Customer service at 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542) Mon-Fri 9am-9pm EST or Sat 10am-7pm EST if there's a problem with your order. Have your order number ready.

Nokia provides a Limited Manufacturer's Warranty for mobile devices sold in the US. This warranty is 12 months for devices. During this time, you can go to Nokia Care/repair services.

When you buy something at the Nokia Online Store, you have the right to a 14-day remorse period. This means that if the product does not meet your expectations, you can contact Nokia Customer service by email or at 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542) Mon-Fri 9am-9pm EST or Sat 10am-7pm EST to return the product. Please have your order number available.

Once we have received and validated the returned item, you will receive a refund within 30 days or we will arrange for a replacement product to be sent to you as soon as possible. We are not able to refund your original delivery charges.

  • Contact Nokia Customer service by email stating your order number and giving further details or call us at 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542) Mon-Fri 9am-9pm EST or Sat 10am-7pm EST.
  • Nokia Customer service will authorize your return and provide you with an RMA code (Return Material Authorisation code), a shipping return label and return instructions.
  • Send the items back in the original packaging and in the condition they were received. (Please keep products safe and secure while they are in your possession - if anything is returned in an unsatisfactory or incomplete condition, we may refuse a refund or replacement.)
  • Include all accessories, user manuals, headsets, chargers, any free gifts and everything from a package or bundle.
  • Package everything securely, if possible, in the original delivery box/package.
  • Attach the shipping return label to the outside of the package.
  • Retain your shipment tracking information and keep this safe until you have received your replacement or refund.
  • Once the returned shipment is received, we will validate the condition of the returned items. If the returned items are in satisfactory condition, we will email you and you will automatically receive your refund or replacement. If there are any problems with the returned items, they will be rejected and returned to sender without refund or replacement.

Please note, you cannot return:

  • Service vouchers if the seal has been broken or the voucher has been used.
  • Software that you have successfully downloaded from the Nokia Online Store or any other Nokia site;
  • Products packed in closed safety pack which you have taken out from the safety pack, such as batteries purchased separately; or
  • Products that have been made to your specification or that have been clearly personalized.

As soon as we've received the item back and validated it, we will process your replacement. We will use the same type of delivery as you chose originally (eg. standard or express). You will receive an email when your replacement ships, and this email is your new proof of purchase, so keep it safe.
You need to use the shipping return label and RMA code for security reasons, and so that we can track the package to make sure it is returned both promptly and securely to Nokia. In this way your replacement/refund can also be proceseed as quickly as possible.
Your Nokia account
You can use Your Nokia account / Order history to:
  • View all your current orders, past orders and preorders.
  • Track the progress of your orders to find out when they are sent.
  • Track your deliveries to find out when to expect your item(s).
  • You can use your Nokia account username and password to access OVI Services. No new registration is needed

Setting up a Nokia account is easy. Simply enter your email address and choose a password - we'll email you to confirm this information.

Your Nokia account also securely stores your details, including your payment information and delivery address, so you only have to enter this once. This also helps us deal efficiently with any queries you may have.

If you need to edit any of your details, you can log in and edit them online - including your address, payment details and whether you wish to receive our e-communications.

Remember to keep your password safe so that no one else can view your orders or make orders using your Nokia account.

If you forget your password:
  • Go to the Your Nokia account page within the Nokia Online Store.
  • Enter your username.
  • Click "Forgot your password?"
  • We'll email your password to you.
  • If you can't see our email check your spam filter, they can be over-sensitive to password reminders.
If you've asked for a new password, you'll need to re-enter your payment details next time you buy something from the Nokia Online Store. This is an added security measure to help prevent credit card fraud.
  • Click to Your Nokia account on the Nokia Online Store homepage.
  • Login using your email address and password.
  • Your Order history will be visible, and you can click on each order number individually to see more details.
Should you lose your proof of purchase (Shipping confirmation) email you can simply login to Your Nokia account and re-print the document yourself.
  • Go to Your Nokia account on the Nokia Online Store homepage.
  • Login using your email address and password.
  • Your Order history will be visible, and you can click on each order number individually to see the proof of purchase. The proof of purchase page can then be printed by clicking the printer icon.
